A previous owner of my 18 ft 1988 Dolphin drove to close to a tree. The result is that the drip edge above the door got squashed and the fiberglass has a gouge in it running from the door to the back of the RV. I can deal with the fiberglass but despite both me and the P.O. trying to straighten the aluminum (?) drip edge it is really rumpled. I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get one. Thanks

I don't know about a Dolphin but, I do have a workable solution. Go to an Auto Zone or the similar store and pick up a set of rain guards for an auto that's close to the shape you need. they attach with 3-M tape and usually are smoke colored. VENT VISOR is one brand name that comes to mind.
Thanks, Rich. That will be my fall back if I don't hear from someone who knows about where I can get a metal one. The Dolphin is in winter hibernation here in MN. I'vee been making up a to do list for Spring.
Rich Thomas Guess what, when I Googled "metal window visors" I got my answer. Thanks again for supplying the magic words
try vintage trailer supply,800-644-4620.i've used them and the product is good.
try drip cap...ive got some and i think thats what your seeking. thats the term i used on the vintage site
Thanks David. That is it exactly. Just need to go down to the pole bldg and measuure what I need.
No problem Jim, least I could do for a fellow Sheltie owner but Dave's the man for all things vintage.
:) That Sheltie is a big part of why I have the Dolphin. She runs canine agility. I used to compete with her, but my ankles and knees are shot. She's good enough that friends are happy to run her. Anyway, I got tired of taking down the tent at 6:00 on raining mornings. The Toyota is the solution. Farthest trip so far was just Winnipeg but if she qualifies, which she should, we'll be going to USDAA Nationals in Mufreesboro, TN next fall.
