Spring is here, I have been working on my recently acquired '85 E350 based Coachman Classic class c MH. Mostly all original except for prior owner replaced the refer and gen.  I am replacing non functional roof AC and applying liquid rubber to roof. After that will clean the exterior, redo trim tape and  apply 5 coats of Zep wax.

On a more active front, we have scheduled our 1st weekend in our 1997 Newmar American Star 30' 5th wheel to the Washington coast in 10 days. We will join two other 5th wheel friends for a "Spring Shakedown" trip. Looking forward to getting on the road again even if it's a short one.

Summer (July) will be spent on board my other RV a 29 foot sailboat.

Hello. Hope your trip to Washington Coast was beautiful. Was wondering how you plan to do the trim tape on your Coachman. We need to at some point do our 84' Lazy Daze and so far my research has everyone either using scrapers/hair dryer combination for removal.

Also, on the Zep wax, I only did 3 coats and it looks really good. My advice, only use white microfiber cloth, even well washed cloth's of other colors with the wax will run the color out onto the vehicle. And it takes alot less than you would expect on the cloth, watch for drips. lol

The coast was changed. One of the landing gears stripped and we took the '85 Coachman. I am planning to use a heat gun to remove the taped stripes on the Coachman. I see replacement tape online or possible mask and spray paint the trim.

Right now I am painting the hull of my 29 foot sailboat in preparation for a month long sail in the San Juan Islands.
