I am looking for a rear window and tail lights for a 1969 Dodge Chinook Motorhome. Also need other parts like the ignition switch, battery box, etc.  I have used google but cannot find any parts.  Anyone know where I might find things to get this original classic back on the road again?

Cliff,

I'm a new member who is considering a restoration of a '69 Dodge Chinook Mobilodge also. Found it recently and am considering buying it from the owner later this month. Trying to do so pre-purchase research on parts availability, etc. and what I should consider paying for it. It's missing the engine (318) and transmission but otherwise appears to be in good condition (for a restoration project).

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have had no luck finding windshields for my 69 mobilodge. I have an excellent power train though I did convert it to a 360. None of the other windows are cracked. And yes there are many places out there that have the ability to cut the flat glass. I really planned on fixing mine up but ran into not being able to find windshields which to me is the most important aspect. I am willing to part with mine unless I find windshields and seals. Otherwise make me an offer.

I replaced the funky, original taillights with 7" LED tail/stop lights. The look good and improve functionality. Any glass shop can replace the rear glass and the ignition switch is nothing special. You should be able to find a suitable replacement at an auto parts store.

Rocky in fort bridger Wyoming has tons of old rvs and trailers. Email him with details, photos if can. His email is rocky82937@yahoo.com. I took pictures of rvs and trailers, some of them. Many are restorable. Very nice guy.
