My brother (who lost his trailer to a fridge fire) scooped up the donated Shasta today. It's an '83 2550 model. At 25 1/2 feet, it's considerably bigger and heavier than the late 19' Dutchmen but Black Betty (the wagon) towed it just fine.

It was extremely well maintained and has lots of new stuff. It has a 3-bed rear bunkhouse. It's a unique but kind of cool layout. The previous owner replaced the steel propane lines with copper and put in PEX for all the water lines. Best part is the fridge is almost brand new. Hot water heater has also been replaced. There's no evidence of any roof leaks. The bathroom floor is a little soft apparently from a fresh water leak at the toilet. But for free, it was a great find.

That's really good and a very nice stroke of luck, or prayers answered from the Gods. It looks nice and now he has another few feet on top of the old 19 footer. Good Luck, Happy Camping and Safe Travels!
