Hello everyone, This will probably sound like a really stupid question but I have just bought a 1981 Dodge (TEC) Travel Cruiser and I can't find the leisure batteries anywhere. Hs anyone out there any idea where they are located please? Regards, Peter.  Southampton, England.

This is a shot in the dark, so bear with me. The battery(s) could be under the step as you enter the coach from outside, or, it could be located under the hood for the engine. I am more inclined to believe it is under the step but not certain. If that is where they are at, the step should have 2 or more screws that are visible so the step can be removed easily.

On my class A, the 2 coach batteries are located under the "hood" with the chassis battery. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hello Peter.

This may assist you. I'm not familiar with the Travel Cruiser, but..............

As per Russ, under the entry step is fairly common for battery placement. If, by chance you are looking for your 'start' battery simply follow the starter lead. It will take you there.

If you are looking for your 'coach' battery/s, same search may help. Generally they are in the same place.

Alternatively for the coach battery/s, if you know where your converter is follow the feed lines to the battery/s.

Best of luck.

My Travelcraft's is in a sunken storage bay. It is in the opp. corner from the converter. I suspect because venting over the converter is a bad Idea. It is accessed from a door out side or under the bunk bed. hope this helps.

Thank you all, I will look for them in the morning.
