Trying to find unladen weight of my 1972 Penguin Camper

Hi,
I have a 1972 Penguin bumper pull.  It doesn't have a weight tag or anything on it.  The title is blank in the unladen weight area.  When trying to look it up by the VIN code, I cannot find anywhere that does the VIN codes before 1981.  My VIN number is not 17 characters long.  I really need to determine the weight of this so I know what I need to pull it with.  Used to use a Suburban, but are downsizing the pulling vehicle.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, We have used truck weight stops on the highway, most scrap yards have scales and truck stops but those I think you pay for. Places that sell sand and gravel also have scales you can drive onto. Hope this helps. Fair winds, Tony and Joy
