my only thoughts is the front brakes do 80 percent of the braking.thats why so many cars and trucks came front disc/rear drums.thats because when you hit your brakes the weight transfers toward the front.don't take my word for it.google is your friend.

Hello Richard,
My reason for a rear brake drum to disc conversion is #1 Parts for the Old Winnebago drum parts are disappearing. And cost $$, the "Unobtainium " future for that old winnebago design.
I have front disc brakes on my Dana 60 4X4 conversion.(6 inch lift & 38's, super single rear)
Just, want to STOP ! + have access to parts on the road.
#2 I'm pulling a trailer. So, extra weight on the rear.
#3 Disc brakes work better offroad.(Wet, dirty conditions)
Wet drums don't stop very well.
Front or rear.
#4 Modern disc brakes stop better & are easy to work on.
I can change pads without removing a wheel.
That Dana 70 is a beast to work on.

Has anyone replaced all the drums with disc's ? Thought somebody has ?

I like Google, it is my friend.
