Hello all! My husband and I just got an old Kit Companion camp trailer from a family member. There is no title or registration. We are searching on the frame for the vin # and it would help greatly if anyone knows how many characters we should be looking for. We found groups of numbers and letters in several different places. An example of what it should look like would be so helpful. We believe its a 1970 or 71 judging from the shape of the back and placement of the windows. Thank you for all your help!! Glenna

Its got a license plate, so its got a title. Check with Motor Vehicle Registration for a temporary plate.
Thank you, that makes perfect sense!
