Help dropping fuel tank ( gasoline)

 I have a 72 Grumman motorhome. The fuel tank needs to be dropped because I am not getting fuel to the carb. There are two pickups on the top of the tank. One goes to the engine and the other to the generator.

there's also 2 sending wires on top.

The problem is that the fuel lines run on top of the chassis rails under the floor. When the tank is installed, these fitting are up against the underside of the RV.

I can drop the tank enough to maybe undo these. (See picture) The fuel lines are stopping me from just dropping it any more. There is no access panel above

Do I try to undo these and drop the tank, then when all back together try to reattach? Or cut the lines and drop the tank?

There is very, very little room to reach the gas line connections?

Just like most vehicles they give you just enough room. You might even cut a knuckle but it can be done. Put a floor jack underneath the tank so you can control how far and fast it comes down. Also put a 2+12+12 between tank and jack.
