Does anyone know a source for welt other than Vintage Trailer Supply?  They are out of the color I want with at least a 4 week wait.

Thanks

  try any auto upholstery shop.
Kieths Rv surplus has lighter colors. Were you hoping for the Latte at VTS? They did tell me they had a slightly darker color available that was not on the website. Customer service said to call to place the order for the darker color.
Thanks.  I ended up getting it from a local upholsterer.
OK I think I may have a very stupid question, but what is the welt or gimp for? I know what it is, and I know where it is at in a camper, but what purpose does it serve other than decorative? Does it serve a function? Thanks RV folks.
Not a stupid question. It took me a while to figure out what it was even called. It fills the minor gaps between ceiling/wall and cabinet/wall etc.
