hi john my name is martin,iv been taking out dent for 27yrs,i have a body/paint shop,so u have little dents on the skin, well what id do is get a dolly and dolly yhe dent out,but not to far out or u;ll have a high spot just enough so u can fill it w/ pollyester putty, its just like bondo but alot more thinner and it cuts real fast, start w/ 80 grit w/ block sander make sure its nice and fethered, then finish w/ 150 or 180 grit then prime, then ull be ready for final prep,if u need any more help please respond thanks martin
Thanks for the tip Martin.  I kind of figured it would be like body work on a car, but I wasn't sure in that the material is aluminum and much thinner.
sorry john i left out the main repair on thin metal, after u have it ready for putty what u want to use is pollyester putty its thin and sands real good and fast, hit it w/ 80grit then feather it w/ 180 or 150,after u prime, now after its primed u want to spray a little black over the prime its a giude coat, when spraying the black u want to mist it on,then ur ready to block sand, sand it w/ 320 or 400 grit wet n dry with a block sander, what u want to do is remove the black only, now if it still shows black keep sanding till black is gone, ull know if u have a low spot cause ull see black where its low good luck martin
Thanks again.
