It was a lot of work, but involved cutting out all the damage:

Then replacing the angle aluminum support:

Then fitting and then cutting out the sheet aluminum on my bandsaw:

And then riveting it all back in place:

And then repairing the compartment door frame with a donor compartment door which was deep enough:

And then riveting the repaired door frame back in with a cobbled trim channel from another donor door frame, and then riveting the door back on:

And then finally painting it:

Thanks Randy!  Yep!  It sure did come out great!  As did my repair to the rear compartment on the RV:  This is what I started with:

Ya that turned out real nice Kevin... What a hook-up. Careful that internet pick-pocket doesn't steel your bumper design. Their already look'n at the width where your winch goes for european & arab licence plates...  Very cool Kevin."
