Thanks Lydia

Thanks Lydia for the thoughts and prayers, healing up well, just needed to take it slow. Actually had the Chieftain out last week for a short two nightery (live in Downeast Maine no shortage of campgrounds). We were surrounded by all these big new rigs, but everyone commented on how good the '89 looked. Glad everyone had a great time out there and I'll be at the next one. BillSee More

To all GOrvers, Due to shoulder surgery this past April my plans of finishing the reno on my 89 Chieftain is are on a short hold. I just want to wish everyone going to the rustic retreat safe travels, have a great time and keep the rubber side down. God Bless Bill  See More

Tell us a little About Yourself
I and my wife, Deb, have been rebuilding a 1989 Winnebago Chieftain, to ready ourselves for retirement. We live in a very small town across Frenchman's Bay from Bar Harbor. We plan on using the RV for wintering in a warmer climate and summer here at home. We raised three children 2 boys, 1 girl, have 4 grandkids. I have always loved Hockey ( goaltender since 5 y.o.) and skiing, hate golf. Mother and I because we are only 1 1/2 miles from Acadia National Park do hike and camp locally.
