"Hi CH, My suggestion would be; weighing each axel (individual is best) with the rig fully loaded and road ready. Then check the tire manufacturer's recommended inflation pressure for weight. Your rig should ride and handle better. Best…"

Quandary about tire pressure

Just put a new set of tires on our 12500# Class C and am in a quandary about tire pressure. Manufacturer recommendation verses actual experiance? Manufacturer says 80 cold. My previous tires at 75# wore out in the middle of the tread as in over inflation. See More

RV Front suspension

Still working on the old buggy. The inexpensive stabilizer works great. This is a 1985 Chevy G-30 van chassis and am trying to install the Air Lift 1000 in the front coils to level up the front end and ease the loading on the shocks. Their web site says to stuff the bellows in between the gap in the coils, not open enough, and the hole in the lower control arm seems too small also. Is it necessary to remove the lower control arm to install? Any experience with this out there? Thanks C

RV suspension

Looking for a little advice/experience on improving the drivability of  a class C 1985 Mallard. Drives perfect on a smooth road, no traffic & or wind. Trying to sift through the steering stabilizer, shock, Air Lift conundrum becomes baffling after a while. Obviously the suppliers are a great source of info, HUH!

Yours Truly C& D aboard " Adrift". Still on the prowl for September.
