Depends on how deeply pitted they are and how shiny you want them...can clean up quickly with brillo pads or bare steel wool. Then protect with a wax, polish (like Mothers mag wheel paste polish, or Simichrome by hand or with buffing wheel to shine like chrome) or a clear "laquer" or enamel.  Beware; if you want "perfect original look, the anodizing finish may be pitted and you'll be "changing" the appearance ever so slightly.  In the preservationist route, just cleanup lightly with Mag wheel cleaner (liquid).

Vintage Trailer Supply (in Burlington VT) has Drip guards or eyebrows in inch-increments.  They ship quickly, match well and aren't too expensive.  The only problem is they are supplied with a white paint coating that can be a finish or primer...or of course, like my own, stripped with paint stripper and lightly polished to match the aluminum of my Yellowstone.

Thanks everyone for the help. I went to search Good Old RV's and found a lot of Good info. Thanks again for help. Wishbone-Ks
