Question..this may seem strange, but I'm not sure if i can walk on my roof.
I have a 2001 Fleetwod wilderness the roof is arched and has a white rubber membrane for the covering. I want to walk on it to seal a few seams as well as inspect the ac unit. I was thinking of using a couple of 2x2 plywood scraps to disribute the weight of my 185 lb fat butt.. what do you all think?
Thanks Keith

I've never had a problem walking on RV roofs. I try not to step on areas that may be vulnerable, such as seams or cap strips. A little extra insurance (your 2' x 2' plywood) is good way to go.
any way to brace the inside with a couple of 2x4's?
You could probably use braces inside but I access my roof by putting a tall ladder on each side and then placing 2 2x6's through the ladder's rungs on each side to support my weight. Gene Bryson
