The shower fixture is replaced, the check valve is replaced (that was the culprit, and we now have hot water), and I replaced the hot water heater bypass valve while I was at it, since it started dripping when I turned it to troubleshoot the system and wouldn't stop. I used a Flair-It three way valve to replace it and it works great with no leaks. That hot shower sure did hit the spot!

LOL Soldier. This is the newest rig we have owned. Plastic parts don't last forever.

No Jimco. All I see is an "X" in the right hand corner of my posts, that only gives me the option of deleting the post.

Kevin F Smith. The joys of a 25 year old rig??? Oh, to have one so new. How about a 1964 camper? 55 years old and counting. Of course, I’m 72 and counting. :-;
Kev, I see a edit button below each post you made on your status page. Do you see them?
Hey Kev, What I noticed about my 43 yr old motorhome is that my age matters more than the age of my motorhome. I could not get my shower to work as I had fixed the turn off valve for the shower attachment a few weeks ago and when I went to use it one trip it did not work. You can imagine how up set I was, well when I got home I found out that it was just operator error know as OLD FART SYNDROME. I did not turn the valve all the way on. (Hits head with palm of hand)
I meant shower fixture...the hose is fine. Sure wish there was an edit function here.

Ah the joys of owning a 25 year old rig. Yesterday morning, I noticed the shower hose leaking where it goes into the fixture, and went to tighten it...and SNAP! The threaded bung that comes out of the faucet broke off. So after I get my catapult parts cut out today, and get some oak machine pieces clamped up to dry...it will be off to the RV dealer again to get the shower hose.! The check valve for my hot water heater should be in today as well.
