We made it all the way to New Castle, Indiana today, for calling it a day.  Only 311 more miles to go!

Only 661 miles to go!  We certainly put a big dent in it today despite the bad weather.  Its about a thousand miles total from where we started...and I only drive at about 40-50 mph.

Poured like heck this morning, so we waited until the rain let up a bit.  Finally got on the road around 11:20am central time.  It was supposed to rain hard all week, so there was no use putting it off any longer.   We made it to the Missouri line when the windshield wipers decided to barely work, and one of the blades (2 years old) started to fall apart.  So we pulled into the Missouri welcome center, thinking we would just have to wait out the rain and stay the night.  Nope!  Within 20 minutes the sun came out, and we got back on the road.  The rest of today's leg of the journey was uneventful, and we made it all the way to Sullivan, Missouri, about 60 miles away from St. Louis and the Illinois line.  Slow but surely, we are getting there!

All packed up and ready to go!  All we have to do, first thing in the morning and early, while its still cool out, is unhook the RV, pull out of our camp spot, hook up the Blazer to the tow bar...and we'll be on our way!

We are delayed a day, and will be leaving here tomorrow morning.  I'm really hoping the inverter guy makes his delivery before we leave!
