Firstoff, hello all,im glad i found this forum. I have an iver head camper i rebuilt from the ground up. I reinforced the intire shell with plywood. Now i want to put my 28 gauge metal skin ove it. With as few screws as possible. What is a good adhesive to use? I have tried frp cement, it was a no go. Should i just use contact cement? I will post pictures, if i can figure out how. Thank in advance for any ideas.

3M has an Adhesive/Sealer,, marine grade #5200.. Ive used it on a small section of metal roofing to adhere it to the shell skin which was plywood on the front of a class C cab-over. Had to rough up the plywood surface with heavy grit sand paper to get a good bond.. I had to put some pressure on it to make uniform contact while it cured and it worked out really well. I can't recall all the details, but,, I did follow the instructions on the package tube and I was very satisfied with the results. Home Depot and Lowes carry it.

Hope this helps you out,,,, Hopefully others will chime in with their experiences..  Good luck,.

is it in a tube?  or is it trowel on?  I would kind of like something to trowel on, or roll on.  I have the whole camper to do.

Here are some pics, i hope?

I purchased it in tube form,,, Im not sure Home Depot had it in another container, I just bought 4 tubes,, I ran a wide bead and used a wide metal putty knife and spread it out.

It actually gave me a little more control of where it went.

I would check 3M's web site to see if they have a roll on application Adhesive/Sealer available.

Will do.  Thanks for the info.

If you want to trowel it on,You might want to look into thickened epoxy, Look up  "East system" epoxy. Available through Noahs in NIagra Falls NY

A lot cheaper than a factory one also! Although this one started out as a capri camper. I took the skin off to repair some weak structural that made it sag onto the cab of my truck. Now the only thing left thats original is the sink, shower and windows. The rest was trashed. Lol
