Ok, heres one for everyone to think about. House battery was getting very weak, had to have the engine running to start the Onnan Generator but it would quit after a few minutes. Figured the house battery was dead, yep, .01 volts on the multimeter. Bought a new interstate 8-D to replace to one it there. BUT now the gen won't even turn over unless the RV is running and it just trys and trys but no hit. On just the house battery it will prime but thats all.
What did I do wrong and how do I fix it??
Tina found this gem by accident on Facebook marketplace. We went, we saw, we bought. We go pick it up tomorrow. We had to replace all the tires to haul it home. We will post…Continue

This is great to see other HR owners. I have been working on mine to get it road ready and would love to talk to other owners about stuff. I got this RV with absolutely no information about it. so I have been just stumbling around and discovering everything about it. I am also new to RVing . I just about have it ready to use . I did use it once this past fall at Assateague Island just down the road but lost my power steering during the drive. So I am getting all the belts replaced and am looking forward to getting back out soon. I want to also add solar pannels for my batteries. Can't wait.
Just found a great buy at Badcock Furniture! A brand new sofa for the Aluma-lite for just $300! Tan suede and going to be tight but it will work. Will post pics of both before and after. Anyone interested in the original fold out bed and frame?
I was always a Chevy girl in my youth but no complaints!
I start her up every week with no problems. She's on a half tank and I'm gonna take her out for a spin soon and top her off.
Hi Glinda, how do you like your Ford chassis? Any issues? I've always had good luck with my Ford powered motor homes.
A very nice looking class C Glinda!
Just wanted to post a photo of my 77 Imperial 5000, the love of my life!
