SO .. I just had the rear brakes done at a shop, they said I had a radiator leak.. My own mechanic found it, pulled the radiator and fixed that. Installed a new 3 burner stove and a replacement furnace that is so quiet and runs nice. My fridge, which ran ok at first but the freezer stopped freezing and the fridge part is getting warmer could be fixed by pulling it out and turning it upside down for a day. Anyone ever hear of that?
We have plumbing to fix and still some wiring issues. I need house batteries and I am hoping to find the right piece of wood for a new counter. The old laminate formica is ugly as sin and ready to retire. I also want to put in a tall faucet. AND .. I need to figure out a good water filter system. There are so many out there. Anyone have any suggestions? I want the kind that will do it all bacteria etc. Never know what your gonna have available for a fill up.
Anyhow, I am finally getting stuff done. Took a while to find the right help. YAY!
I got this in November and had no reason to open the windows. They were a bit sticky but I figured I could clean and loosen them up when the time was right. But now I've run into a problem. I scraped the felt-like material where the window slides and a friend suggested a silicone spray. the result is 1 window opens half way, a couple about an inch and I am smelling this silicone still 4 days later. I live in it so that odor really sucks. Anyone have a better suggestion for loosening up the windows? Mine are simple glass with no frame that sits in the slots.
Is the rubber channel in good shape? Ours were crumbling and rusty. It was a pain to do but, we replaced all the channels for the windows. Vintage Trailer Supply has them. Maybe there is a lot of dirt and debris in the channels. As for the silicone dilemma, I don't know.
Thanks. I did clean them. I got that site up though and they have the right stuff, called pile, not felt. So you had to take the windows out? I can't see any way but to take out the entire frame. Any tips you want to share on how you did this would be greatly appreciated. If I don't get someone to help it will be on me and hit-or-miss guessing could end badly. I have absolutely no experience in these sort of things and no documentation or manuals to advise me with this critter.

Im looking for some pics of the exhaust on a flat nose.
When i got my 72 there was no exhaust at all. Need to know the proper routing from the manifolds down.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
