Retired U.S. Air Force. Just bought a 1987 Champion Telstar in great shape except paint. Interior like new (and getting newer). This is a small class C or some call it a B+ RV. It is 23 feet bumper to bumper. Sleeps 4 max. I will post a picture soon.

thanks so much for the welcome....I am excited to find this site as I have unable to get anything from a couple of other sites I tried to access...it can be a challenge traveling with children with special needs but it can also add to the enjoyment when we stop and visit places or see something en route that gets them excited...does your grandaughter like to travel with you? (the biggest isssue for us is that my three children dont do so great with unexpected changes or schedule differences, so i have to do lots of prep and updates as we go!!).  I do have a somewhat silly question...I know that the Telstar (mine is a 27 foot, 1987) is supposedly fiberglass, which seems correct for my roof, but the sides have peeling paint etc and truly look (and feel) like wood paneling on the outside...could this be accurate or is this just how fiberglass can look as it ages?...I know there is wood inside as it has got a significant amount of dry (and wet) rot on the inside walls/floors due to the ongoing long term dripping of water into the spaces underneath the trim/support for the awning arms/bars etc. I would be interested in your input on that...I have a million other questions but will start with that one...lol

    Thanks

    Amanda

Sam - Thanks for the tip, I can hardly wait to visit that area again. The Last time I was there was 1968.

I have that same switch for my hot water heater also but mine is located up next to the monitoring panel about mid way of the rv. Guess I will just have to continue to trace the wire to the source to see what it controls.
