please research and see what you want. I have sprayed hundreds of things with rustoleum, you will need 20 cans and it will look like crap. just a heads up
Mine is a 1979. So yeah it's over 20 years old. Which is why I was thinking Rustoleum. I've seen someone on Youtube spray paint theirs with rattle cans and it turned out nice an shiny. If my husband would allow it I would take the paint completely off and just shine it up with polish but he's very against that idea. (he hates airstreams) I'll look at CIL and see what happens.
my advice, if your trailer is 20 plus years old, just go with the cheap stuff, I got CIL exterior paint, flat white, it went on great. dont spend too much money on the paint, your gonna slap it on and never touch it again, I see people professionally painting their trailers, that costs hudreds of dollars and really defeats the purpose of it's age in my opinion :) good luck
Thanks Shawn. Exterior siding paint... can you give me a brand name or a link to the product. I was thinking of going with a Rustoleum paint. But since my oldie is aluminum I was afraid I would have living issues.
I used good old exterior siding paint :) just cleaned the surface well before application. 2 coats
Looks good. Did you use auto paint?
