I have the 250-D model which sold for $30,750 in 1975. Some of the additional options were original, can't be sure which were added later. it does have the double swiveling passenger seat and "cocktail" table. And it has the vacuum.

Thanks Rich. I am not painting anything. I am installing aluminum double bubble wrap and one side is white. I am exploring how I will cover it eventually but for now, that will be enough. A friend who makes hats for a living has a roll of wool he has suggested I use to cover. Says its real purty too! ;) I will have to see.

I think I will have some help doing this if I wait a couple-3 more weeks. May be worth the wait. Meanwhile I am taking Lakota's advice with the night blankets and with my envi heater, it definitely takes the edge off so I can use my laptop without my fingers going numb! :P

May I suggest you Find some heavy construction paper, card board. or a roll of heavy paper that you use as a drop cloth when painting. Lowe's sells it in there painting department around 36" X 25'. Use any of these to make a tinplate of the desired area to transfer to the aluminum. As in the measure twice cut once frame of mind. I know that aluminum isn't cheap. You can cut smaller pieces and seam with aluminum tape where joints but together and also aluminum tape can be used in places where pipes and other openings present an awkward angle or a gap. It can be found in the HVAC department The tape is handy for patching the sheeting if a hole is punched in it. Hope this is of some help.

yes and thank you Lakota Wolf.

My roll came today and now I have to go buy the stainless self tapping sheet metal screws. It only weighs 25 lbs but it so big around and 4 feet tall (!) so I cannot bring it in here to measure and cut it. Fortunately, I can do that at the property owners home.  Its going to take quite a few days to get going, need to wait till the people are gone so I can roll it out on the floor,  not be in their way but they go out every day.  I will let you all know how it goes. Wish me luck! :)

A little cheat to staying warm on the harsh cold nights is to section off your rig with blankets,, That way your heater isnt trying to heat the whole area at one time, Also, open your cabinet doors and see if your getting cold air comming in,,, if so, put small blankets or towels inside the cabinets to block cold air flow, Hope these couple of tidbits help you a little to keep from freezing,

Since I am living in this, it is obviously not well insulated! BRRRRR! And my furnace in close to death, not to mention being quite the LPG sucker. So here is what I have done and am doing.

I bought an envi heater (http://www.eheat.com) which only uses 450 WATTS. \But the lack of insulation is not helping so I ordered a roll of double bubble aluminum insulation with one side being a tough white coated surface able to serve as my inner wall, at least as per the sales guy. It arrives tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted as to my progress. :) Any suggestions and advice will be welcome.

Happy New Year people.

OK, so I do not know much about mechanics and still have not figured out how to ID the chassis but I do know it has the Toronado drive train which I assumed was what they all had.

I have a few pieces from what there is of REVCON manuals I would like to share. I have it on  a CD, also copied to my hard drive. Can I post it in its folder or do I need to do each doc separately? Also is there a more appropriate place on the site to do so than this thread? Being new here I would appreciate some tips so this could be easily accessible to anyone who want to see it.

I'm not sure, only had it less than a month :) hard to figure everything out and not being mechanically inclined, I am always eager for suggestions.

So where do I look to find that out?
