35' bumper to hitch, and we loved camping so much we decided to live in it full-time. But we are making some changes in order to do so. This was the original.

In the Tinpalace I sanded the walls (which were real wood, not fake plastic!), then I gave them two coats of Kiltz, then like four coats of the super duper expensive white paint. Those walls drank paint like camels drink water. And every time you touched it that bleeding stuff chipped or skidded off. I kept a can of paint and a brush under the kitchen sink. So This time I am much more pragmatic. If I am going to have to paint every day for the rest of my life, I'm not going to slave away sanding and then putting on six coats of primer and paint. So far my two coats are holding up as well as the elaborate ritual did. I've only done as far as the kitchen, but some of it is a year old. I haven't posted those pictures yet. AC is growling and we are trying to find the repairman. Always something!

I have used kiltz primer in the past do you think that giving the walls a coat or two of that primer first would be enough of a base for the paint not to slide off the fake plastic walls or I could end up with a heck of a mess and wish I still had the wall paper haah

Well, the wallpaper fell off our walls so I'm painting! The top half is a kind of dirty brown textured linen, so that's getting a coat of white - I have no idea what to do with the bottom. I know from experience that paint skids off these fake plastic walls faster than bald tires on wet ice.

Very nice I love the walls if I take the wall paper off the walls in our unit I have no idea what I should do with them not sure if other half will go for paint any suggestions other than replacing all the walls which I cannot afford to do?
