Vintage RVs for the rest of us...
1969 Glastron
My wife and I found this gem in 2012 from a family in Colorado. The seller found this beauty on the side of the road years ago but it was missing the instrument panel. The man was a ex-pilot I believe and built his own. He documented everything very well and many manuals and spare parts were included in the purchase. We have plans to restore this baby in a retro fashion but not necessarily with original parts or style. There will be many modifications on the looks but my main focus for now is everything under the hood. I am an artist and my first intuition is to work on the aesthetics. But I am holding back this time and making sure I have a sound running motorhome before I start dumping money into its looks.
