im weak on drivetrain...somebody else will have to step up...prolly obsolete on the lights.  you can get replacement pintails..but that right lens might be a bugger

No worries. Actually made me laugh and I appreciate the kind words. I've decided to keep the Banner. She's just too cool to sell and not restore.  Still trying to figure things out without a manual. Currently looking for replacement tail/brake lights on ebay so I can get her inspected. Seems like the logical next step: State Inspection. Unfortunately the cluster of gauges isn't working, i.e. speedometer, fuel indicator. I checked the fuses under the dash with a flashlight and they all seem to be good. Not sure where to look next.

sorry for nonsensical post. Ive been on pretty good pain meds for a week. I'm also sorry to hear of the divorce. greatest words ever spoken, "This too will pass". you got the superior running. maybe just a little time to see what can be fixed on the appliances and plumbing before selling may bring a greater return on investment. myself and a few others are willing to help...

aww shucks man. i cant believe your passing up the chance to restore that Turdalator 5000(prolly really a monomatic). There prolly are parts and I think they are about 600 new for a whole toilet. they got a push button to a mechanical timer with this cool little stainless butterfly. that powers a cooler pump looking thing that has a rotating screen with fixed wipers. that scraps the solids(poo and paper) off the screen while the pump "recirculates" the liquid. the tank is in the bottom of the toilet. free joke just for reading: what do you call a rv tech doing a roof seal?? um...thats a toilet man moving up in the world. careful...this self deprecating humor gives license to open season...lol. I'll check for a kit if you take this monumental project on....Pat gives a merit badge for sucessful repair of one of these...jkjk

Thanks for the comments. Earlier today I replaced a rotten fuel line and she is now running nicely again. Also today, I hooked up water for the first time. Looked underneath and see no tanks. The water ran directly onto the ground.  Sink works well. Can't figure out the toilet... We've had a good bit of rain here in the DFW area lately and she doesn't leak.  I am recently divorced and currently living with my parents... Was planning on restoring this to live in, but am thinking I should sell it and buy something a little later model, that doesn't require restoration, and one I won't have trouble finding parts for. Does anyone know how much I should ask for this Banner MH?

I would check the seal on the roof, to prevent future water damage. Lots of good info on here for that. Check the water system for leaks and winterize. Id try to lube all those cables from the dash area. Gently trying tomfree them up over time. That toilet is a recirculator. You can go with a marine if it has a holding tank, otherwise I would add water and chemical and soak it for a while before operation to get it going. If I had to save it I would gently dissassemble it even to be sure I would not damage it on initial fire. Parts may be obsolete. Theres a few starters...looks cool

Hello all,

Thank you for adding me. I am a newbie and this is my first motorhome. She runs great. I believe the motor is a Dodge 318? But not sure. Also not sure what type of gas I should be using... My plan is to update her with new paint, flooring, etc. Not sure where to begin. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
