I everybody the photo album i created is something a needed emotionally after working for 8 years on our resto mod project we finally finished it in 2023. It took a long time because while doing this restoration we actually went camping every 2 weekends of each summer plus our 3 weeks of vacation. Since i don’t have a garage and we are in Canada working on it was mainly in late spring and early fall. That summer after finishing the paint we travel for over 1000km in 3 weeks ,we did a couple of weekend too. But in Sept on our last weekend of the season 15 min from the Campground a wheel locked on the trailer at 100 km/h or 64 mph for you guys on the highway . I know what you are all thinking but no it was not the bearings. Found out later when my car was in the shop that corrosion in my trailer wiring shorted my brake contrôler and locked one wheel. Luckily nobody was hurt but our beloved AAARRRV .So i guess no camping this summer. Good thing it was modified with aircraft composite materials. Final damage , twisted frame sheetmetal on one side one wheel and 4 windows sanded down. After all the work we put into this project we just could’nt let it go ,so i bought a frame and we are going to fix it. Pics to follow
