Original fabric and foam was in pretty bad shape, and unknown dirt and whatever else was in it. So we tossed it and are starting from scratch. This was a 8x6 piece of foam

Oh, and jeanne is totally right about the electric knife! A jigsaw might work as well. A razor gets caught and creates an uneven surface that an electric knife fixes perfectly!

We got ours at a store called "blackbird" its an outdoor, sportsman type store. The queen size is 70-120 depending on thickness, and density. They also had foam on a roll, if you wanted to buy a few feet to do cushions, or dinette. Our foam is high density, 4" thick, 8x6 .Some foam looks good, but it sinks down when you sit on it. Lots of campin.g stores have the thinner single bed size for around 20$. But its only about 2" thick, and sinks down.

Tim, I just bought foam for my 1968 Lo-liner from JC Penneys.  I ordered it about a month ago while they were having a big sale.  I think it cost me right about $100 for a 5" thick queen size.  Now to just get it cut down (I hear electric knife is the way to go) and installed cause we're going on our maiden camping trip tomorrow!
