That's not a fun job. The pump/sender hanger on my 2007 Avalanche rusted completely through and I had to take the tank out to replace it - it looks similar. It was pretty frustrating given the age of the truck.
Got the fuel tank put in,,, (no leaks). I guess the 3rd time is a charm. Wasn't easy not being able to move very well,, But I guess being stubborn, I had to get it done. Checked that off the TO do list,,, Next is the frame rails for the 5th wheel hitch. Gonna have momma pull the ole 5'er on occasion. Then both trucks get fresh brakes all the way around,along with front wheel bearings on both. Winter is setting in and it's getting cold, just have to catch up on the To do list before the snow starts.
