That is great, lifted trucks, the chevy must be a street vehicle, it doesn't have a winch to get itself out of trouble like the Dodge and GMC do, and that ford will look fantastic when they put the new tires on it. lol

Nice Rich Thomas!  All kidding aside, the seats are from a Ford Expedition, Eddie Bauer, leather, power, and heated, with adjustable lumbar support.  I had to do something, since my wife Patti couldn't see over the steering wheel with the crummy stock seats.  I have a bunch of friends who drive Fords and are religiously fanatical about them, so my Ford comments are just fun and banter.  As long as its made in the USA and its a USA company, its all good to me, Chevy, Ford, or Dodge.

I have to say, I've owned Fords all my life and never once had one towed. That being said, I'm driving a GMC and my Motor Home is a Chevy (go figure) and I love them both but, I will have to say Ford dose make a better seat. Always liked those K-5's I have two early Bronco's that I hope to bring back from the brink of rust to dust.

Hardy har har Russ...lol!  She does have Ford seats in her though.  Ford makes the most comfortable seats.  I guess they want you to be comfortable waiting for the tow truck. ;)

Jimco gets all the credit for the nice work on the welding.  I did the grinding and sanding and painting and drilling part of it...lol!

I sure do like the looks of those compartment locks and that bumper is class 1. noticed you put on tow hooks on, good idea so you can be pulled out of the mud holes by any ford that is handy--sorry couldn;t resist the jab 

it is a wonderful looking setup and when you get the winch in it will even be nicer looking

This is the compartment damage I have to fix:

I cut out all the damaged sheet aluminum and the mangled part of the door frame, and loosened up some of the trim in order to do the repair:

I then installed a new piece of angle aluminum to the steel compartment box.  This is what the compartment door frame and skin gets riveted to:But unfortunately, the donor frame that Jimco gave me wasn't deep enough for the compartment door!  The black frame is the donor, and the white the original.  Otherwise it would have fit perfectly:

So hopefully Sands RV has a compartment frame that I can use, either whole, or a part of it to tie in like I was planning to do with the black donor frame.  They have odd hours, so they haven't been open.  Weds-Saturday.  Wish us luck!

We spent all day today trying to get the air conditioning fixed.  We figured it out...a seized compressor...so a trip to the junkyard yielded a nice one with low miles that ALMOST fit, but the plug was at 12 o'clock instead of 9 o'clock, so the brackets won't fit.  I ordered one from Autozone, which will be there first thing tomorrow morning.  We have to go down that way tomorrow anyway, to hopefully pick up the parts we need at Sands RV to fix the rear compartment door frame that I also have to fix before we hit the road.

And the "new" perfect and uncracked dash is installed in the Blazer...with a protective cover to keep it from ever getting any cracks in the future.
