I was glad to take the pictures because that is what this site is all about... helping each other. :o)The window frames really do look so much better when they are cleaned up. I bet they probably look better than when they were new because they were just plain alimunum then. I am trying to polish that aluminum and make my effort really stand out on the camper.

Thanks for taking these photos!  I am going to try cleaning up my frames this weekend.

I will have to try the SOS pads now as well. This area hasn't been polished yet. It has only had the steel wool treatment. I haven't put the Mother's polish on there yet. I look forward to trying the SOS pads. Thanks for the tip Kevin.

I tried plain steel wool as well and found that SOS pads work even better. Something with the "soap" in the pad seems to polish along with removing the oxidation. I have wet sanded areas with bad pitting when sos pads didn't get it all.
