"The answer to this problem was so dumb!! I had built the trailer walls from wood, and the lights at the back had no metal touching them at all, so no matter what I did, it wasn't getting any ground.  I rewired both sides with a definite…"

I'm pretty sure it's Operator Error, but just in case I'm asking for help.  I renovated the utility trailer I had that used to be a Venture popup camper but was just four short walls on a frame when I got it.  The walls more or less collapsed from exposure to the weather, so I stripped it down to the frame and wire-wheeled the rust off, and painted it with rust reformer and primer.  No problem there.  I rebuilt a nice sturdy frame with 2x3s and clad it on the outside in a temporary way with…See More

"Good luck. I've found places that understand (or at least don't question) my motivation to reuse some older stuff, adapt it and make it work again. "Why don't you just buy a new one?" will come up but with that flange nut…"

"Thanks for looking anyway.  I think tomorrow I'll go to a place nearby that supplies plumbers and other people who might work with gas, and see what they might have to say. wish me luck!"

"Looks like the adapter/hook up is attached via a flare fitting. So, I'd look for a new bottle fitting that has a provision for that flare fitting. Looks like a 3/16" line with a 3/8" flare nut. Been browsing the interwebs but…"

Looking for advice on transforming truck camper...

...into a small trailer.

I'm selling my truck and buying a van, so I don't need the two camper projects I've gathered.  I only have one set of jacks, so if I get rid of the '68 Frolic, and keep the (approx) '70 Real-Lite, I was thinking of cutting off the cab-over bunk, and slicing off the two feet at the back that currently has no floor and fixing it up and attaching ti to a trailer frame.
