- Musician, Mechanic, handy with many things.Im looking for an RV that needs a significant amount of restoration, while the major components, ie engine, driveline, appliances, fixtures, superstructure is basically intact and if not working, repairable. This of course, allowing me to obtain cheap, barter, or even free. This unit will serve as a backup so im never homeless again. Being out of town on a contract job. My truck, tools, cloths everything stolen. Starting over.All I need is a good break, and im off..; ) Patrick

Hello Patrick, Craig's List is my suggestion, but use good judgement when dealing on it. I found my 1978 Travel Craft class C there. Just do a lot of research before you jump in. My camper only had 19,900 miles on it and it was always stored in a pole barn. The barn was struck by a tornado and the insurance co. totaled all three campers stored in side and I bought it on a salvage title for less than 3 grand. It has a few bumps and it had a hole in the roof that was less than 2" across where a 2x4 fell on it. I took it to the Highway patrol and in less than 30 min they cleared the Title. So they are out there to fit your needs and for a good price. good luck on your search.
