Thanks Robert! True words and excellent advice. I'm glad to hear you are not regretting your decision. Thank you for the support. I love the look of the Winnies!
It's so funny how there are different 'groups' of people out there. Here everyone is friendly and supportive of these crazy plans to go vintage. But then yesterday I was just reading a forum where everyone was bashing anything less than ten years old, saying it was a money pit. My experience is owning a newer RV was no different. We were always fixing things. It's good to be reminded, it's all just par for the course. Expect it, relax, and have fun. I loved it when we full-timed. Best years of my life. Made some good friends (that I still have).
About to pull a trigger on one (a wee baby Mallard). Pretty gosh darn excited to be back in the game - let me tell you.
Thank you for the welcome. I have spent several days looking at before and after photos of vintage campers and I hope I can make this one in to a beautiful show girl.
I did not see many wildcats on any of the websites, so I am thrilled to find her.
By the sounds of that you want to keep your back to the wall.>GRIN< We're starting to get antsy. The grass is starting to show through the snow.. Met up with a cap yesterday restoring a 1972 Bago. Defiantly got his work cut out for him but what he's done to date is nice work and he's a real caricture. Well keep us up to speed on how your making out.
