1972 Aristocrat Motor Home

Greetings All - It's been 5 years since I visited here at GORVs. I have a very rare 1972 Aristocrat Class C motorhome. I was out of the country for a long time and its been sitting, out of the weather and up on blocks since 2007. Before it was parked, I took it on several 600-800 mile round trips. It has 38,000 miles. Last Saturday (8/17/19) I got it running again and I will soon get it back down on the ground and ready for a new life. I have used it as a hotel room several times so I know…See More

"Wow!!  This guy had a 47 year old water valve for the fold-up toilet in my 1972 Aristocrat motor home. Furthermore...he found it within 10 minutes of my phone call. He replied immediately, gave me a fair price and quickly made shipping…"

Tell us a little About Yourself
We are missionaries working with orphan children overseas. We own a 1972 Aristocrat Motorhome on a Chevy Van Chassis. We enjoyed it greatly before leaving the US. It is now stored in our barn and we use it as a hotel room when we visit the States. We intend to continue using it if/when we return.

He then went on to build the American Clipper line and Boise Cascade began marketing these Class C Motorhomes. What I don't know is if these early designs were ones that Boise got from Irv Perch with the acquisition...or were they unique Boise designs? I've now discovered several of these coaches on Ford Econoline chassis and I think some were…

Another Aristocrat

Saw a 1973 Aristocrat truck camper on Craig's list. Same flooring, wallpaper and bathroom as my coach. The more I search...the more I think I have a one-off Aristocrat motor home built before the American Clipper line began.

Hi Scott, Aristocrat was made by Bendex Inderstures starting I think in the mid 60s. They also produced Citation and Corsair TTs and Class A & C MHs, I hope this tidbit of info helps.  Rick Parry
