Hi Bernie... No, my Ritz-Craft is actually torn down all the way to the frame. I wanted to replace some rotten wood and before I knew it, I had it completely dismantled. I thought this is best, then I will have a brand new camper but a 1967 model. There was just too much rotted wood all the way to the parts of the floor.

I need a door also, I was going to build a wood frame and incase it in aluminum and add a window. I bought a used 4' sheet metal brake press off craigs list just to rebuild the camper. The door on my Ritz was home made also ..but wasn't very nice. I think I can build one that would be difficult to distinguish that it wasn't a factory door. I  am not sure where you are from ... but if you are somewhat close I could always help you or you could use my tools. Finding a door for a Ritz-Craft may be difficult.

As far as I could tell, Ritz-Craft moved from Argos, Indiana to somewhere in Pennsylvania in the 1970's. They then started manfuacturing Mobile Homes. Not sure if they are still in business, but I am hoping to get to the RV Museum and do some research.

Do you have any photos of your Ritz available? I was wondering if it was a similar body style to mine. If I can help you with anything ...please do not hesitate to ask!

I just saw the pics of your trailer. Very nice and that should be one nice looking trailer when you get done.

Welcome Bernie. I have not heard of a Ritz Craft that I remember. I have a '69 Terry that I am also looking for information on. That apparently is one thing Google can't find a lot of information on.

I would love to see pics of your camper when you get a chance. I really like watching other people restore their campers and getting ideas from their restoration.

Thanks,

Craig & Lisa
