Been a member of Good Old RV's for about six years, we had a 66 Aristocrat LoLiner and a 70 Aristocrat STL. We now have this "newer" RV and because of that is it o-k that we stay with this group.

For the longest time I have had problems with my trailer not being stable at hi-way speeds. Thought the problem was in the trailer. But no the problem was my tow vehicle. Over the years the front end became worn out. I had the front end re-built and added stabilisers front and rear. Cost about $300 dollars. My tow vehicle is a 86 Chevy Suburban 3/4 ton with a 454.

Waiting for more info on engine, trans etc etc. Does anybody have more info on this rig or clubs - anything would help. Thank - You.

Wouldn't it be nice when everything is loaded in the camper and you are ready to hit the road looking for that next campground that everything would be absolutely perfect. Everything on the trailer is working and the tow vehicle is running great. But think about how boring life would be if everything was perfect. Our RV is forty years old and the tow vehicle is twenty four years old and let me tell you they keep you on your toes and your mind sharp. Happy trails and keep those vintage RVs… Continue

Need new tongue jack for our 1970 Aristocrat LoLiner and of course they don't make the original so you make do with what they have. The problem being the new jack is to long and hits the ground pulling into driveways. Does anybody know it they make shorter ones. Side jack would be great but no room with the toolbox and propane tanks - see my pic keeping it together. It's great seeing this warmer weather and hope everybody is thinking about camping. Thanks - DB

Our 17' Aristocrat LoLiner has a water tank with a water pump for fresh water. How hard would it be to hook up a hose so we could have shore water also? Can we have it both ways? Thanks.....and happy RVing.......

Hi everybody - I think this is one of the best RV websites around. We just bought a 1970 lowliner that has been completely re-done inside and out. I think its over kill and I spent way to much money for it. We still have our 66 lowliner and plan to sell one of them. (?) My question is this - the 70 lowliner is vary heavy and I pull it with a 86 3/4 ton chevy suburban the problem is I'm getting a lot of sway. I have installed a sway bar and shorten the hitch but it still is a little wobbly.… Continue
