Sorry for the delay in answering you. I had to get Jack to look at it....he's my personal mechanic :o)
If it's like ours, which it probably is, the white wire goes to the negative battery terminal. The two reds go together to the positive terminal. One of the red wires goes to the vehicle hook-up for charging the battery as it's being pulled. The other red goes to the ac 12 volt converter which operates 12 volt lights when trailer is not plugged into a110 outlet.
Does that help?
We didn't get any books with our either. But I did find this information on the Internet:
Fleetwood Motor Homes Parts and Service
Attn: Owner's Manual
1010 Commerce Drive
Decatur, IN 46733
Please include the make, model, year and Fleetwood Identification Number with your request. We hope this information is helpful. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at our toll-free number, (800) 322-8216
I'm going to contact them tomorrow and hopefully be able to send in my $8.00 for the manual. Maybe you'll have luck getting an owners manual, too.
We're going to have to replace the ceiling vent covers as well. Luckily we have a good RV supply near where we live. Hopefully they will be able to help us with any replacement items. Ours is also missing the fridge....no big deal. That will allow us to pick out the fridge we want plus incorporate a microwave above it.
It had the original curtains / valances in it so we thought "let's see if we can salvage them!" Well, one trip through the gentle cycle of the washing machine took care of those curtains! LOL That's fine....I sew a little and curtains / valances are the easiest things to make. And that way we can pick fabric that will go with our interior. We want to keep it as true to the era as possible.....but I've nixed the orange....can't do orange....no, no, no. Just a personal preference.
We'll be checking out y'all's page often! Hope y'all will check back with our page often, also. I'm thinking that by posting pictures and updates it will make us somehow accountable to stay on task!! :o)
