Maybe "fun" isn't what I would use to describe todays work.....more like sweat-y, grunge-y, icky. But still.....somewhere in the middle of all of that it was FUN!! Maybe if it hadn't been 104 degrees in Texas today.....

We finished getting the rest of the loose trash out of the camper. Decided to go ahead and pull the couch / bed out (we plan to replace it with a futon once the re-do is done). Next weekend it will probably be time to start pulling out some of the original paneling that is in really bad shape. Jack will need to get behind some of that and see about the wiring / electrical....whatever it is that guys need to see about.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that ALL the interior lights still work. And equally as pleased to find that most of the cabinets and storage are in really good shape.....just need to be Kilz-ed and painted, plus new countertop / tabletops put on. Not sure about the air conditioning system (it still blows air but not very cold air)and also not sure about the plumbing.

Our grandsons, McCain and Noah, joined us for a little of the work in the camper today.....they are very excited! Which in turn makes Jack and I very excited. Lots of memories are going to be made!!

All in all....it was a good work day on the camper! ;o)

I'm sure it will! We are both so looking forward to being able to enjoy some get-aways. But we're also looking forward to the work we're going to put into the camper.....something we can do together. Jack will take care of the electrical, plumbing, wiring, etc....and I will take care of the really important things....like paint color, curtains, bedding and throw pillows!! :o)
