Well, I can't blame the previous owners of Diggity Dodge for this one. It was clearly constructed this way.
The corner with the gaping hole of light in the cab over behind the passenger door was a bit more involved than I had thought. Originally I thought there was just a rust hole started there. Nah....that would be much too simple.
Here's the outside of that hole, and the reason for it. Notice the joining of the corner...the metal track wasn't a flush match over the fiberglass...so they just screwed it there anyway and loaded the whole corner up with some kind of stuff that resembled the butyl putty. It was rock hard and fell apart, thus leaving that hole.
I am not even sure how I'm going to fix that. This is a continuos molding and channel for the sealing strips that goes all the way around and over the top.
{{sigh}} Glad I found it though.
Well, 'nuff on the ugly stuff. Let's have some fun with a similar game to "Where's Waldo?"
Find the hummingbird in this pic:
Find the Dragonfly in the next two pics:
I hope those weren't too difficult. I have a lot of fundwith nature photographs around here. It's critter haven, and I love it.
Happy Fathers' Day to all of those Pappa's out there!
Comment
Well, I'm sure ( i think anyway) I found the dragonflies but only marginal on the humming bird. Gotta love those little creatures. I was told humming birds fly south on the back of a host bird. don't know how true that is but they are a fascinating little creature.
I'm not going to edit the post. It was suppose to read "fun with nature". LOL
