Some unique Aussie Go-near-anywhere motorhomes

Hi Folks,

In welcoming me to goodoldrvs, Pat asked me to highlight some unique rv's from 'downunder'. These 4x4 motorhomes allow a traveller to go to remoter and less accessible parts of Australia in comfort and safety, and there is more of Australia off the bitumen than on it. Googling 'I Love Australia' will feature most of these in photos.

These 4x4's are not cheap by anyone's standards. There are several constructors across Australia with a number here in south east Queensland. I will give you one website for All Terrain Warriors www.allterrainwarriors.com.au but a Google search on "Earthcruisers' will find another group. I love the top-of-the-line All Terrain Conqueror but some of these 4x4's are kept compact enough to be freighted in a shipping container, thus allowing these experienced and intrepid travellers to traverse other continents as well as Australia..

These probably weren't what you were expecting Pat, but they qualify as unique..

Cheers

Allan Ashley.
