- I am a very active participant in several non-competitive sports, and about to retire from teaching. I plan to buy a medium-small used diesel rv in USA, tour in it and then ship it back to Australia where it will need modifying to meet Australian specifications.

Some unique Aussie Go-near-anywhere motorhomes
Hi Folks,
In welcoming me to goodoldrvs, Pat asked me to highlight some unique rv's from 'downunder'. These 4x4 motorhomes allow a traveller to go to remoter and less accessible parts of Australia in comfort and safety, and there is more of Australia off the bitumen than on it. Googling 'I Love Australia' will feature most of these in photos.
These 4x4's are not cheap by anyone's standards. There are several constructors across Australia with a number here in south east…
