"Hello. I live in Lake County, CA and own a 1973 Chevy Mobilux and was wondering if you still have your 1972 Chevy Mobilux. That's before you decide to donate it. I would happily give it a good home if you choose to part ways with it. My name is…"

1972 Chevy Mobilux Motor Home needing a new home

My father passed away a few months back and we need to get rid of his motor home.  His is the original owner of his 1972 Chevy Mobilux.  It is 25 ft. long, has heat and air and an extra gas tank for very long stretches of travel.Anyone who has seen this, it has a wonderful bench seat forward seating arrangement for 4 (we fit 5 when we were small), which turns into the dinette.  It sleeps 6 with two sling type bunks in the back (we loved as kids). Tell us a little About Yourself
Hello,
I grew up traveling with my parents and siblings in our motorhome every summer and many winter holiday's, and always hoped to do the same with my own family. Circumstances led my little family to be tent campers. :) But there was hardly anything better than hitting the road and traveling cross country in my parents' Mobilux.

I am wondering if there is anyone who might want my parents '72 Mobilux. My father kept it up and running until about 8 years ago when his health began to fail. He passed away recently, and my siblings and I do not know what to do with it. It traveled many happy miles with children and grandchildren, but none of us can or want to take it on. It is quite old and would need some work, but I've seen pictures of some that folks have recently fixed up, so figured I'd see if there was anyone who had been wanted this particular old RV before we send it off to a likely RV graveyard.
