Hi Kevin, have you checked the in coming power with a meter. Both 120 and 12 volts?
So I need help diagnosing and fixing my Norcold 6182 fridge. It stopped working suddenly. No ammonia smell. It has been in continuous use so I doubt it would need to be burped. It is perfectly dead level. It was working fine, and then just stopped getting cold. Again, no ammonia smell or signs of an ammonia leak or deposits or discoloration. The tank DOES heat up and is hot to the touch when the fridge is turned on. It hasn't worked properly on propane for the last couple of years, but was working just fine on 120 volts until just recently. And it isn't even the hot months anymore. I checked the top vent and it is clear of any debris, so it is getting full airflow across the coils. Any ideas? Maybe the electric heating element isn't get hot enough to boil the ammonia? The tank gets hot, but the fridge doesn't get cold anymore.
