Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum. I have been researching restorations and watching e-bay and Craig's list along with other sites for about a year now. I've gotten really serious just in the past two months. I'm considering a ground up restoration on a 12' canned ham that I can buy with a clear title for $300 locally. The exterior components and siding are all great except for lenses on the lights. The exterior has been painted with a brush. Considering the work invloved and the expense of materials etc., what do you think? Is the price right? I'm also considering another trailer for $1000 that is supposedly complete and in great shape but 2 1/2 hours away from my hometown. I have the skills required to do a restoration. Thanks for your input!

Kim, first off, I watch Craigslist, and the price seems right -- on both units. Also, you seem to realize the scope of the project you are undertaking. A renovation of that extent can quickly become overwhelming; I know I wouldn't attempt it, but celebrate those with the courage to do so.
Best of luck,
Thank you for your reply William. I plan to make a trip maybe this weekend to check out the trailer that is complete. If it needs too much work then I'll tackle the cheaper trailer and start with a clean slate. I think it will be fun!
Very cute trailer. The price is right and if you do the work yourself, you'll know it's done right. No surprises. Good luck!
That's my thought exactly VK. Would you venture a guess on the manufacturer? I'm wondering if maybe it's an Arrow.
VK would you have any idea who the manufacturer of this trailer might be?

Thanks VK! I bought the trailer and it is a 1960 Bee Line.
