Does the paint or the placing of it on the outside of the camper signify
a manafacture. For example my 13 in 69 yellowstone has three stripes and I just saw a vintage Scotty where the paint color is solid only at the top but it looked alot like mine?!?!

no there is no real paint scheme to rv's, you might even find they were cheap and just used a stripe roller or even maybe a roll of sticky tape on it, on one i had was painted on another it was sticky tape. from the same company.   redwing

i HAVE A 13 FT 69 YELLOWSTONE AND IT HAS THREE STRIPES

and it may not be original stripes for a yellowstone either. as you can see in the broshure the other url points to a 69 both are the same scheme.

I don't know if this is the right place for this question , but here goes. Do you think old RV's have gotten to the point where "original color skeem" matters the way it does with old cars? I just got a Clark Cortez and don't care too much for the factory colors.

Thanks Pat. I doubt if many of us are in it for the money, but I sure don't want to do anything that will hurt the value. I like the fact that the vintage RV community is less up tight than the old car community. You are right, beauty IS in the eye of the beholder.
