My first question may not have been posted because membership wasn't verified. I mean no disrespect by the all caps.
We have acquired a 1979 Apollo D3000 (I think the D3000 is correct). We bought the owner's manual because we thought it would have more information in it. It's kinda misleading actually. The home came with alot of paperwork, for the furnace, stove, refrigerator, ect. But there are a lot of electrical things we're not sure about. My husband is a mechanic so the motor isn't an issue, but the switches and other electrical issues...we have no clue. There are many things we need to do to get everything ready, but as she stands now, she will run. We just have to get the levelers and water tanks and other specifics figured out. If anyone has ANY information or leads, it will be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure exactly what the manual will be called because we were fooled by the operation and maintenance manual. It was a glove box manual. I thank you for the time and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Rebecca - There is a Yahoo Group for Apollo Motorhome Owners, they may be able to help you. If you are not a member of any Yahoo Groups, it is free and easy to join. Facebook has an Apollo Group also.
Thank you...I'm on facebook and have been for a long time. It never occurred to me to look for a group on there. I appreciate it. I may go to Yahoo, also, just to make double sure that I may find the info I'm looking for. I think I found the right sight on facebook, so I sent a request to join. Again, thanks. Sometimes it's something simple when you are looking so hard for something.
I too have a 1979 Apollo and am seeking any and all information on it. Would love to be advised if you find any information. Could you share where you bought the owners manual?
I got it from ebay. The name of the person who sold it to me was-- lloydslit --
It was really just a basic manual like an operators manual. It didn't have information related to the schematics and the REAL information we were looking for. We're slowly finding some. This person has a store with all kinds of factory authorized manuals...not originals. Some of them may be. He communicated really well, though and he may be able to help you. The social media sites like facebook (and the above link to yahoo.com) are helping. These particular people are only interested in Apollo motor homes... Hope you get what you're looking for. On facebook, I searched in the friend search bar "Apollo Motorhomes" and there was a site there that is just Apollos. Maybe after you join, you can find some help there.
Hi,
I do not believe there is a per say manual for "coach" wiring ect. There is a chassis manual and a owners"glove box" manual and all the manf manuals on the stove, AC ect ect. I have never seen or heard of a manual like you seek. Our Cabana was and still is a nightmare when it comes to tracking systems. The most useful tool I have found is a " Cable Tracker" I found at Harbor Freight. It sends a signal/ beep though a wire and you have a wand like deal that picks up the beep though walls ect. Your best bet is still owners forums. If you have a ? or problem someone else has had the same thing happen. It can be trying but worth it when your cruising along on holiday. Hope this helps, Tony, Joy and Cool Paw Luke
Sounds like something we might check into. Seems to me that it would be alot better than what we have now. Thanks
