Hello everybody,

On my camper's data plate it says it was built by Bendix.

Anyone have any experience with these? I knew Bendix mostly

from brakes & clutches, never knew they built campers/trailers.

I would imagine they bought somebody's existing line and put their

name on it for sale...

Any info would be appreciated!

Hi Tracy, Bendix made slide ins, MHs, TTs, and moblehomee for years starting in the mid to late 60s to there disappearence just a few years ago, Hope this helps.    Rick.

We have a 1976 Bendix, in excellent shape, and can find no information anywhere on it. We have it set up in a seasonal campsite in Chincoteauge, Va.

There was a Bendix factory in Benton Harbor Michigan that used to roll press steel for Whirlpool and other appliance companies. They had a very nice assembly plant manufacturing siding for portable garages also. As Rick Parry stated, they had quite a line up of RV's under there name.

Our Corsair is the 1st camper we've ever owned so we went in blindly & did much research along the way. Evidently, Bendix also made kitchen appliances, washers, dryers & all kinds of other things. It is a pretty interesting company history.

Hi Tracy,

I just bought an Old Camper and I am in the same boat? Can't find any info on it. It is 16 foot single axle and in pretty good shape. If you get any info please pass it on
