Hi all, new to the site and to camping, so here goes. I picked up a Winnebago travel travel for a steal, but I have no clue what year she is. I did get a model number of 216-1/2BD from the plate on the side of the trailer. I've searched and searched, but have come up empty. I've seen a few (very few) that are similar, but none quite like this one. She does have some water damage, but the electric works - not sure about the plumbing or even how it works. The fridge is dead and not sure about the heater. I've attached a few pics, and once I get the year nailed down I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions about the other stuff. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!! Thanks!

Hi Andy, congratulations on your Winnebago travel trailer purchase.Member Tim Daley has been looking for one of these and says that they are hard to find.
There is not much going on here at GORV's with Winnebago travel trailers. But I do know that Winnebago Inds starting making travel trailers in the late 50's.
Anyone else out there with more info?
On 95% of trailers, they have a vin stamp on the inside portion of the tongue, I have gotten the old wire brush out,, (easier with a wire brush on a drill) and cleaned up the yrs of crud and rust and have found VIN numbers identifying year. Hope this helps.
p.s. on right side of tongue facing the trailer.
